What the weather is like, month by month, in US cities

Climate Norms gives one page per city with all twelve months of average high, low and rainfall, read from NOAA's 1991–2020 climate normals through the Regional Climate Centers' ACIS service. Rainfall here is NOAA's precipitation normal: rain plus melted snow, not rain alone. Every page names the weather station behind the numbers and links the query so you can check it yourself.

All 12 months' average high, low and rainfall, in both °F/°C and inches/mm, from one station's 1991–2020 normal.
Which month runs hottest, coolest, wettest and driest by that data, plus which month comes closest to a fixed mild-and-dry rule we disclose on the method page.
A short comparison with a couple of nearby cities we also cover.
